The main draw of this adventure is the 'bucket list' Mount Nimbus Via Ferrata - A course of iron ladders, rungs, and suspension bridges that turns the everyday adventurer into a mountaineer - no experience required. This route, constructed in The Purcell Mountains of British Columbia, is the the most extensive route in North America. But there's so much more to this 3-night adventure! After breakfast each day, set out by helicopter with your guide to spend the day exploring the immense variety of landscapes. The choice of classic alpine hikes are all but endless: deep river basins, meadows of wildflowers, icy crystalline lakes, bubbling creeks, and stunning ridge walks define the region, as well as the incredible Conrad Glacier which offers another thrill-seekers adventure. Based out of a luxury wilderness lodge, meal times are a delight with family style dinners and impromptu presentations by local personalities, adventurers and guides.

These adventures involve trekking, cycling, rafting or sea kayaking for up to 6 or 7 hours a day at a steady pace. You will have the choice to do each day's walk or 'high flying adventure' (via ferrata climbing, zip lines, etc). Generally the altitude is not great, and walking is along ridge tops and not too strenuous. You will need only to carry a day pack and to have a good level of fitness / be in good health. Be prepared for potential variable weather conditions. If you choose the via ferrata options, prepare to traverse dramatic canyons via mind-blowing suspension bridges and to scale vertigo-inducing rock walls with the full aid of metal rungs and safety systems. *Please ensure your travel insurance policy covers you for this activity. We can assist with suggestions in relation to this. Suggested preparation; 1 hour of aerobic exercise, three to four times a week and extended periods of exercise during the weekend will accustom you to regular exercise. Hill walking with a pack in variable weather conditions will be beneficial.
