Guided Active Trips

Experience Canadian Wilderness With Our Expert Local Guide

Some trails are simply better undertaken with the guidance and knowledge of an expert local leader. It may be possible to access some trails from the base of cozy accommodations, while others are so remote that the only option is to stay in mountain huts or to camp out each night in the middle of pristine wilderness. Doesn’t sound so bad, does it? To sweeten the experience, our guides and crews will do all of the camp set up/take down and all of the cooking for you. In fact, some of our guided hikes include food drops, and many include porters to move gear from one campsite to the next, allowing you to enjoy the stunning surroundings without the burden of a heavy pack on your back. If you wanted to do it all yourself, you probably wouldn’t be reading this, right? Whether joining us on an accommodated or a camping-based adventure, your trusted guides and hosts will only add to the experience with plenty of local tales to tale and delicious meals to offer; making each guided adventure both a highly-inclusive active challenge as well as a culturally-immersive experience.

Another advantage to guided travel is meeting like-minded adventurers. Our group sizes are small (typically from 4-12 people per group) and our travelers come from all around the world. It’s not unusual to be part of a group that consists of participants from Australia, Canada, the U.K., the U.S.A. and even New Zealand. Enjoy the camaraderie of fellow adventurers and the pleasure of swapping stories along the trails. Prefer your own private group?
