For those with limited time to visit incredible Gros Morne National Park, we've put together a package with our favourite 'must do' activities while leaving some flexibility of choice where meals and trails are concerned. There are so many great day hikes of varying difficulty and scenery to choose from within the park and our incredible local guides are excited to take you on the trails of your choice. Walk atop the earth's exposed mantle on a rocky Tablelands hike; along the coast and through lush landscapes of the Green Gardens; to spectacular views atop Big Lookout or Gros Morne Mountain; or simply take an easy stroll to check out a pretty seaside vista. But that's certainly not all - get your Newfoundland culture fix with both a traditional live musical performance and a delectable culinary tour that features Gros Morne's top rated restaurants. And, how could we leave out the classic scenery of Western Brook Pond Fjord? The included 2 hour boat tour takes you into the heart of the glacier-carved, land-locked fjord, past billion-year-old cliffs, and dramatic 2000-foot waterfalls. Truly all of the ingredients for the perfect trip: outdoor adventure, entertainment, local food, first class service and fun guides.

Today is simply an arrival day, but what an arrival! We will pick you up from the Deer Lake Airport and drive you into the park via the stunning 'Viking Trail' highway which provides your first glimpse of Gros Morne's dramatic coastal landscapes. After about an hour, we arrive at the pretty seaside village of Woody Point and settle into your simple but comfortable accommodations which will be home for the next 3 nights.

Another day packed with activity! Your guide will pick you up this morning and take you north to Western Brook Pond for the spectacular 2 hour boat tour within the fjord. There is also time today for a short coastal hike (1-2 hours, easy) and/or visit to some cultural sites such as Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse and Broom Point's fishing exhibit. This evening, you are in for a real treat as we tour some of Gros Morne's top fine dining restaurants to sample incredible local cuisine and enjoy a three-course dinner with optional wine pairing (additional C$50 per person). With full bellies, retire to your room by the sea.

Lunch is included and we'll have you back at your accommodation by supper (dinner) time. This evening you will be able to listen to live traditional Newfoundland Music while tapping and dancing the night away. Options include: Green Gardens - 10km out-and-back, +/-450m, approx 3-4hrs Gros Morne Mountain - 16km for the full loop, +/-500m, approx 7-8hrs Big Lookout - 2.5km up and 2.5km back down, approx 2hrs Tablelands - Anywhere from an easy 4km flat walk to a challenging backcountry adventure

Meals:  B,L,D

Depending on your onward plans/flights, there is an option to add on a half-day hike or cultural experience (needs to be booked in advance at an additional cost, available from June to Sept). Your adventure ends with a transfer to Deer Lake Airport where services conclude.
